A Duke study finds that prayer doesn’t do a body good. The researchers conducted a study on patients with half praying for the patients, the other half receiving no prayers. Apparently, there was no significant difference.
This study seems to be a waste of money and time. After all, most people who think that prayer will help, believe as a matter of faith. It only gives more ammo to those who believe science explains all.
I still pray to God. I know there is no factual basis for it, but I do anyways.
In other news, a recent study finds that saying “Good Morning” has no significant effect on whether a person will have a good morning.

Hi Harry,
At your earliest convenience, please contact me at mikerei at comcast dot net.
I am extremely interested in discussing real estate investing with you and, in particular, Mark Kemp. I too have read nearly every RDPD source, including the forums. I too have chosen to concentrate on REI full time, giving up my previous teaching and sales positions.
And last, I too have chosen to hire UtahInvestor to mentor me, though I’ve struggled with sending $$$ to a stranger. However, I’m pleased to hear Mark has exceeded your expectations.
In fact, what you said in your blog on Oct. 6, 2002, has really prompted my request to talk with you.
By the way, though I don’t possess a CS degree, I am extremely computer literate and almost exclusively prefer the Mac. Welcome to “our” side
Mike
