I’ve moved my iBook over to Mac OS X 10.3 over the weekend. I was on 10.2 (Jaguar) for a really long time. I wanted to just wait out any problems there might be with the new version. Now that there have been about 2 updates, I figured it was time to take a look at it. It looks like all those other people were right about Panther being great. It’s fast and just continues to improve the greatest UNIX environment around.
I also got a chance to re-partition my laptop drive. I’ve moved over to a one big partition format because I’ve misjudged the size I’ve needed for music and other files in the past. Although, this guy has a good idea for how to setup Mac OS X. I might follow his advice if I got a Mac desktop.
