OMIGOD. I just went to my friend’s website and saw this! I’ve been teasing him about how the two of them are twins. Now these brothers, separated at birth, have been reunited. Obviously, the world has not ended, so it must mean a new age of prosperity. Go us!

Some of you from Alabama may know that our Governor Bob Riley tried to have a massive tax reform act passed by the people. Some of the things promised were more money for eduction, free college tuition, and better schools. This was going to be accomplished by raising property taxes, state income taxes, and other new taxes. The vote on the issue was yesterday and the people voted a resounding NO!. The plan lost by over 2 to 1.

Today, Yara and I were talking about the vote.
Harry: Wow, the tax vote really didn’t go well. I haven’t seen a smack-down like that since… since… I don’t know when.
Yara: How about since the last Auburn game.
Harry: Zing!!
